Meet the owner

Sam Allen

I can truly say I love what I do! Real estate is something that I've enjoyed since I was a kid. I grew up in Southern California where both of my parents sold and built real estate. I graduated from California Maritime Academy with a marine and facility engineering degree. I worked in the port of Los Angeles and then moved to Nashville where my real estate career began.

Shortly after, I relocated to East TN where I married my high school sweetheart and have been selling real estate ever since. We currently live in Rarity Bay on Tellico Lake with our son Tate, and our dog Mr. Benny. I am passionate about all realms real estate has to offer and I would be honored to work with you as my next client.

I always knew I wanted to find a career that allowed me to serve others while also being able to work as my own boss. Real Estate allows me to do both and I love what I do.

I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina and after graduating from Liberty University made my way over to Maryville, Tennessee with my husband in 2015. Together, we have one cat and one dog. When I'm not out showing houses or writing contracts, you can find me hanging with my family and pets, hiking, singing, watching The Office and eating all the tacos. I strive to be the best agent for each of my clients and would love the opportunity to serve you.

Real estate has always been something I have been interested in. Having the opportunity to help people find their home is really a dream job. I grew up in Southern California and graduated from Colorado Christian University with a degree in Business Administration in 2021; I also earned my real estate license shortly afterward. My family and I have moved out to Tennessee and we are excited to start the next chapter of our lives here. If you need any help with finding the right home, I would enjoy having you as my client!

I moved to Tennessee twenty years ago from my home state of Iowa when my wife, Linda, was promoted within the Veterans Administration hospital system. I wish we would have moved here 20 years earlier! We love the scenery, mountains and the lakes here. I have held a real estate brokers license for 35 years. I enjoy helping folks fulfill their real estate needs from first home, to business and investments, to their retirement home. When not working I enjoy cruising the mountains in my corvette, golfing where I live in Tellico Village, playing with our cocker spaniels, Charlie and Henry, or just socializing with the nice people here. I always enjoy talking real estate, so give me a call or text to see how I can help you with your search or sale.

As a long-term resident of East TN, I could not imagine being anywhere else! I was born and raised in Madisonville, TN, and graduated from Sequoyah High School in 2010. I spent my college years at Tennessee Tech, where I obtained a B.S in Interdisciplinary Studies. After graduation, I gained experience in various fields, including banking, customer service, and manufacturing. I decided to get into real estate, because I truly love my community, and really enjoy showing others what makes it so fantastic. Lakes, mountains, and easy access to Chattanooga and Knoxville, all while enjoying that small town appeal. I was recently married in 2021, and I enjoy every minute of it. I look forward to the years to come and helping my wife with all the various community events we get involved with. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, golfing, and spending time with my family. I look forward to building strong, lasting relationships with my clients. I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve Monroe and surrounding counties for any real estate needs and look forward to being of service to others.

Stacy Drake

As a 34+ year Department of Defense civilian, I moved around the country a number of times for my job.  I always found the challenge of finding the right home and working through the process of either buying or selling to be very rewarding.  I found after retirement, that I wanted to share that rewarding feeling and help others find the right house that they could call home.

I grew up in Ohio and graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.  I have lived in Maryland, Colorado, Maryland again, Nebraska, Georgia and now Tennessee.  I have loved living and getting to know people in different parts of our country and welcome the opportunity to assist all.  Also, if you are a retiree,  I would especially enjoy helping you and your family smoothly transition your life to new interests, people, and adventures.

If I am not assisting a client, you will find me enjoying the outdoors.  I enjoy pickleball, bicycling, and exploring the mountains, particularly finding waterfalls.

Jeff Shaw

Jeff Shaw was a farmer by birth, an accountant to support himself and his family, and a Real Estate Broker because of his deep love for the industry.

Shaw’s experience as a CPA gave him a deep understanding of many types of businesses and the practices that make some companies very successful, and when others don’t seem to reach their full potential.  After eight years in public accounting, he entered private industry and worked as CFO with a large regional luxury home builder which is where he became very interested in all facets of real estate.  In addition, he worked with a NYSE public company which had 27 subsidiary companies in many varied and highly regulated industries.

In 1994, Shaw started trying to persuade his wife Carol to allow him leave the accounting profession and purchase a real estate company.  A year later, in 1995, she relented and Shaw opened his own start up real estate company in the Tampa market.  His focus was not on being the biggest, but in being the best.  However, with the high performance and standards of his staff and agents, the company grew to become a very large real estate company with hundreds of millions in annual sales and hundreds of homes sold annually, but the focus on doing the best job for each and every client was always his priority.  It didn’t matter if it was a professional athlete from one of Tampa’s sports teams or the a first time home-buyer who is working hard to get into a starter home, every client was treated with dignity and respect, and received the highest possible level of service.

If anything, Shaw overprepared for the real estate industry.  He went to school and obtain licenses just to learn more about the industry and to make sure his company was as prepared as possible.  Over years, Shaw was licensed as a CPA in 3 states, obtained his real estate sales license, real estate brokers license, mortgage brokers license, contractors license, was a USAA preferred broker, a CARTUS Relocation Broker, a, Transnational Relocation Certified Broker, and a state licensed real estate instructor among others.  His desire was simply to attempt to be the best.

A great deal of Shaw’s time was spent teaching others how to be successful in real estate, whether it be single family home sales, investing in residential or commercial real estate, or business valuation and sales. He even wrote his own investment analysis program on how to compare real estate investments, with calculations including cash on cash return, Internal Rate of Return, before and after-tax cash flows, and much more.  During his career in Florida, he recruited and trained numerous top real estate professionals.

Century 21 Shaw Realty won numerous awards before he sold the company and moved to Tennessee.  Among the awards were Century 21 Centurion Office, Ambassador Award, Finalist for Small Business of the Year award in his market, Century 21 Top Office Award, Gold Medallion Office, President’s Award, Century 21 President’s Advisory Council, Quality Service Award, Quality Service Pinnacle Award, and others.

During much of the time, Shaw and his associates served in several capacities in many worthwhile groups and events.  These organizations included such groups a Wounded Warrior Projects, Easter Seals, Haley House, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, several children’s homes, he sponsored a fishing tournament for combat wounded veterans, and through his Soldiers on the Front program, mailed hundreds of boxes to our deployed troops overseas.

Shaw’s father was in the Army and served in Europe in WWII, and his son was in the Army and served in the Gulf Wars.  Shaw is a veteran of the Mississippi Air National Guard, but as an accountant, he says, “The most dangerous thing I every picked up after basic training at Lackland was a sharp pencil.”  Carol, his wife, retired from teaching after 35 years. Shaw plans to continue giving back to the community here by providing top quality but affordable services to active duty and retired military, law enforcement personnel, and teachers.
